Maui and the Taney fa by Louis

The Taney fa

One day maui sent people out on the bots to get fish.And crabs but when it turned nit time they nether came
bake maui  felt that same thing did not feel right the next morning he took same strong men with hem and he also took
the thing that mauie always had it was strong enuf to bring a
whale or evin a island up it was maui's fishing hoke his grand. Ma
gav it to him and he went on a boat with the men and he went
aowt and he frow his fishing hook in the ocean and he waited and watid then he saw a big shadow in the water maui told the men.
To hold the rope  it took hold of the fish hook and the men help’d
maui pole the fish up but when they started to pull it up it was not a fish at all it was same kind of monster and then it dumped the bot and
then maui’s hook was in the sea lost for ever and. When maue woke
up his men were made of stone and he was on the best but it was
dead and maui fort for a name for thes best and he made his daichin. The name of the best was taney fa.

I need help to write  a narrative legend.


I can write a narrative legend if I am guided.
I can use some structures of a narrative (beginning, middle, end, setting, characters, plot)

I can use some descriptive words to describe characters, setting and events.



I can use the structures of a narrative (beginning, middle, end, setting, characters, plot)

I use a range of descriptive words to describe characters, settings and events.

I use a range of simple, compound and complex sentences.  

I can organise my ideas into paragraphs.

I can check that each sentence is complete and makes sense.

I use a range of descriptive words and details to describe characters, settings and events.  Using figurative language to help develop connection with the audience.

I deliberately use a range of simple, compound and complex sentences to set the mood of my writing.

I seek feedback on how to improve my writing.
